Five stages, one approval.

Every video moves through the same pipeline in the same order. You only step in at the last stage.

  1. 1

    Research

Tavily pulls current sources for your niche and ranks the strongest sub-topics.

  2. 2

    Script

Claude Sonnet writes a hook-first script. Claude Haiku checks the claims against the sources and cuts filler phrases.

  3. 3

    Voice

Edge TTS reads the script with word-level timing, so captions and cuts stay in sync.

  4. 4

    Render

Remotion assembles captions, sound effects and visuals on a Raspberry Pi 5 with a Hailo-8L accelerator.

  5. 5

    Publish

The finished video waits in your review queue. It goes to YouTube only when you approve it.

Two small machines, on purpose.

Youtubot is two pieces talking over a private network, not a cluster.

Orchestrator

Job queue and API

A Node.js/Express service with MariaDB tracks every job from research to publishing and serves the API that the dashboard and the render worker use.

Render worker

Raspberry Pi 5

The Pi asks the orchestrator for queued jobs over Tailscale, without port forwarding, and renders them with Remotion on a Hailo-8L accelerator.

Publishing

Review comes first

Finished renders wait in the review queue. Uploading to YouTube is always a manual step.
